Baking Powder Biscuits

Baking powder biscuits taste amazing when they are fresh out of the oven - I hadn't made them in a while and forgot how good they are!  My favorite is to just melt some butter on them, but they are also great with jams, jellies or peanut butter on them.

I stumbled onto a great variation one day by accident - I put a coarser Himalayan salt than usual in the recipe and found that it made for tasty little salty pockets in the already amazing biscuits! 

Freeze these biscuits in an airtight container and reheat as needed.  I'm including both my YouTube and printable versions of the recipe for you.
