I've been enjoying these cookies for over 40 years! This recipe was originally printed on Tenderflake lard boxes, but I haven't noticed it on the boxes in years. My Mom made these cookies when I was young, and I've been making them for over 30 years!
You can easily substitute raisins for the chocolate chips 1:1. I love them both ways!
Enjoy the cookies fresh or right out of the freezer - they freeze really well. The cookie dough is amazing also (shhhhh... don't tell anyone!)!
