Tender Crisp Cookies

I've been enjoying these cookies for over 40 years!  This recipe was originally printed on Tenderflake lard boxes, but I haven't noticed it on the boxes in years.  My Mom made these cookies when I was young, and I've been making them for over 30 years!

You can easily substitute raisins for the chocolate chips 1:1.  I love them both ways!

Enjoy the cookies fresh or right out of the freezer - they freeze really well.  The cookie dough is amazing also (shhhhh... don't tell anyone!)!

If you happened to notice what a powerhouse the little blender I was using is, I have to say I couldn't be happier with it!  It's very reasonably priced and blows away many top competitors at 400 Watts of power! Take a look at it HERE

Take a peek at the baking soda I used in this recipe that you may not have heard of -  it's non-GMO and chemical free:

Find my YouTube instruction video below, as well as a downloadable/printable version of the recipe.  Enjoy!
