If you've never tried Epicure's Extraordinary Cheese Dip before, you're missing out! It's a favorite among my 3 grown sons (and me)! And it's SO easy to make!
As you may have heard, Epicure has undergone some changes in recent years. The selection of items isn't as big as it was, and are currently only available in Canada, but keep checking back as the company is growing and changing quickly.
Although the recipe is perfect as it is, I sometimes change it up a little by substituting the dip mixes. Eg. Sometimes I like to add the Nacho Cheese, Herb & Garlic or Guacamole dips instead of one of the ones in the recipe. You can also change up the cheeses - use sharp cheese or another cheese of your choice.
I'm not a big fan of using "light" anything, but I find if you don't use light mayonnaise in this recipe then the dip turns out pretty greasy. I find Avocado mayonnaise is a good substitute for the light mayonnaise.
Tip: Always keep some cream cheese in your freezer so you have it handy if you decide to make this dip for unexpected company.
